it had once been increasing pollution and it still is

but it's also trying to find ways out of it

Science has helped in all fields of life.Technology,education,medicine,communication.

Basic life would be impossible without the contributions that science has made.T

Cars,new medicines and cures,mobiles...and in a more complex level understanding the human organism,solving mysteries of our past,preparing for the future and learning about the universe.Living in a world without the contribution of science would be like returning to the Stone ages where humans survived on nothing but instinct and raw need for survival.Maybe not completely but science is a boon..

Science as Boon:

One cannot regret the fact that science has done many good to humans.

1. One can compare the advancement of the nation to that of civilization. A civilized nation is one which has achieved scientific progress.

2. Fast means of transport like aeroplane, and other vehicles have made the world a global village.

3. Telephone, TV, satellite, Internet have made it possible to get the latest information.

4. It has given us new medicines to fight diseases.

5. It has revolutionized our education system.

Despite the dazzling successes of modern technology and the unprecedented power of modern military systems, they suffer from a common and catastrophic fault. While providing us with a bountiful supply of food, with great industrial plants, with high-speed transportation, and with military weapons of unprecedented power, they threaten our very survival.

Science as Curse:

1. Due to various scientific inventions, the jungle tracts has been destroyed thus creating harm to the ecological balance.

2. Today though the vehicles have reduced the distance for us, the pollution it causes cannot be overlooked.

3. Has lessened the amount of physical exercises there by increasing several ailments and posture diseases.

4. Many lost their lives in the leakage of chernobyl Nuclear power plant and due to the Methyl Iso cyanate (MIC) gas leakage in Bhopal a few years back. This was due to the so called scientic advancements. This is because of human failure to anticipate the Disasters.
