Is that even a legit question? Cyberbullying should definately be made illegal. To clear up the fact that saying "you're stupid" or "you're ugly" over electronic devices has become a way of life for most teenagers and even adults and younger kids. Even something as light as those put downs can damage a person emotionally, and shouldn't be exceptable, the consequnces are normally very light, if any. Light consequences for that sort of harrassment is acceptable. People make mistakes and circumstances very. What is not exceptable and what should be made illegal is severe cyber bullying. Any type of electronic comment maded that is threatening a person should be tried as a felony. Cyber bullying is taken too lightly here in the United States. A huge percent of suicides are results of cyberbullying. This is a serious problem and should be handled in a serious way. Google cyberbullying stories or suicides. You will find thousands and thousands of results. Side: yes

Should Cyber Bullying be made illegal? maybe it should or maybe it shouldn't. The fact of the matter is that cyber bullying will have a difficult time being banned due to its complexity. For one, many argue that banning cyber bullying interferes with the first amendment; freedom of speech. And if cyber bullying were to be banned how would that law be inforced? Would the government monitor everyones internet activity? Yes, I agree that cyber bullying should not be taken lightly, but making this activity illegal will not be the best course of action. I may be young but I have seen what has happened to people who suffer from it. One of my friends committed suicide and one of the main causes was cyber bullying. In many studies, it has been show that abuse has a bad affect on children. Cyber bullying is a form of abuse. Side: yes

Bullying should definitely be made illegal only because there would be less bullying if the bully knew there was a price to pay for all of what they do on line and there'd be less bullying because of it. People can have fun on line and make funny comments and stuff, it's only the nasty comments that they should get caught for! Side: yes

First things first, what benefit do people get when they bully others??? Is it just the satisfaction that tells you that you are are the mightier one?Let me remind you, you just proved down right straight that you are afraid to face the other consequences. What would u do if you went under the same pressure?? And second, no matter what the person did or not..NO BODY DESERVES TO BE TORTURED..or in other words be BULLIED!!! In that case, cyber bullying is even worse , AND IT SHOULD RESTRICTED AND BE MADE ILLEGAL! This is just the world, what will you do when you will have to face god in the hereafter? Side: yes

Cyberbullying is always going to be around and nothing is going to change that OK. All kids have to do is ignore it. Now I'm not saying that's easy, it's not, it's hard to ignore it. I've had my fair share of it. But cyberbullying is a moral issue that should be fixed by a moral society. THE GOVERNMENT ISN'T MORAL PEOPLE END OF STORY!! If the people make cyberbullying illegal that just gives the government more power over us. Also if it becomes illegal that basically takes away the right to freedom of speech. So no it should not become illegal. Side: no
Cyber assessments are not just for large enterprises. Small list of uk data breaches should also consider them as an essential part of their cybersecurity strategy. After all, a single cyberattack can be devastating for any organization. Side: yes
There are so many legislations which make aspects of cyber-bullying illegal that you dont need to make cyber-bullying illegal in its own right. Theres the Protection from Harrasment act 1997, Malicious Communications Act 1988, section 43 of the Telecommunications Act 1984 and the Public Order Act 1986 which cover all the aspects of cyber-bullying from hurtful and tormenting messages to the repetition of them. The people who currently run the internetz are cyber bullies. it's a pretty bad idea to just eliminate 75% of what the internet'z for just cause some people are too pussy to take it as a joke. sites like Stickam are only fun because you fuck with random attention whores. if that all of a sudden becomes illegal, we'll just leave the internet to all of the "phonies" (Catcher in the Rye reference). Don't you get it? Those who get fucked with by random users deserve it. I can not speak for personal cyber bullying though, like a bunch of girls ganging up on this one girl at school. Side: No

You know that is a big signature for serial killers? If you belittle someone to make yourself fell better or more like a man then you should improve your face to face social skills so you don't hurt someone. It can lead to antisocial behavior from both the victim and the person who belittles the victim. Side: yes
