should paper books still be produced or should devices take over?

If we give up on the ways of old, when the ways of new fail we we be left with no options. Always have a contingency plan basically, so maybe we should keep our devices as our modern uses and in our schools, with the paper originals still taught to be used, and stored for eventual use. 1

Tough to say... Pros of paper: Doesn't use valuable energy or environmentally harmful electronic parts It is something that you can actually flip pages with more biodegradable Cons of paper: Can be easily damaged uses a lot of ink kills trees you need a factory just to make copies of it Pros of devices: doesn't kill trees you only have to make the book once then copy it digitally doesn't use ink can be backed up Cons of devices: uses energy some parts may be harmful to environment |
