why women should have equal laws like of men? don't you think that if they get equal laws then it will be a problem. Now there are equal laws then also there is gender bias for eg. you see in any government institution also men gets a higher pay par his female colleague.

The concept is that women now have social pressure which is to be overcome by giving them more priority then men. they can't move freely in our society now also that excludes metropolitans but it is problem in metros also like mumbai delhi and especially bengluru.

The laws for molestation and rape shouldn't be different depending on the sex of the person. Men and women should be sentenced the same amount for these awful crimes. If people want true equality between sexes this is the first step we need to take.

I don't understand. In what way should the laws be different due to molestation?

I think it's a reference to the difference in common perception for a female pedo teacher vs a male pedo teacher. Especially if the female teacher is attractive, she is not often viewed with the same level of disgust as a male teacher committing an equivalent crime.

As a general principle I do agree there should be one law of the land and everyone should be held to that standard equally.

Of course, that's just a general principle. Because in reality, when the vast majority of cases of violating a law come from one particular gender it leads over time to more focus on the group most creating the problem.

Yes. Absolutely. Rape is rape regardless of gender. Same goes for any other crime.

Well the question if viewed on the surface might seem a bit sarcastic or retarded. First of all men and women under the rule of law are humans. Anyone with a working brain would only conclude that despite any crimes committed by either genders, same punishments would be decided by the court. Try asking this question to a lawyer and see if he/she reacts intelligently or sarcastically then come back and report.
