Man, if you've seen people who do crack constantly, you'd say crack too. They look like zombies. It's mortifying.

I would think this makes it obvious by hey maybe the one at the bottom is the worst one... and evidence of this will come any day now even though we have already studied it more than the atom...

I think all drugs are bad. They all mess with your body in ways that it shouldn't be messed with and for the majority of people, cause addictions, thus making the body crave more and more of the substance, which is already damaging to the body. The worst one, in comparison to others, would have to be the cigarette. Think about it: it causes heart disease, lung cancer, bad breath, yellow teeth, loss of taste and smell, and many other diseases with lead to death. Smoking related deaths in America trump all other causes of death leading to a staggering 440,000 deaths each year- that's over 20% of the deaths in America each year! For one time uses, cigarette smoke might not be as bad as these other drugs, like LSD and heroine, but due to the convenience of buying it at a local store, the countless chemicals and harmful substances added to just the tobacco, and the highly addictive nature of the drug, it eventually kills more people than anything else in the country.

As a side note, if you do smoke, please try to quit. Smoking leads to painful cancer, maybe chemotherapy, and long drawn-out death. I don't wish anybody these things.

Both crack and meth are the worst drugs out there.

PCP comes in a close second (the only thing is people usually enjoy it more).

even though i'm for legalizing drugs, i would still want those variations to be banned. not only does nothing good come from it being legal, but a lot of bad comes from it too.

So far, I don't think any of you have claimed firsthand experience with drugs. I want to set something straight:

Read up on the history of LSD. Yes, there are bad trips, and increased risk of schizophrenia and delusions. But the risks of LSD itself are far less than commonly prescribed antidepressants. Bad trips are almost always the product of fear of bad trips, which is in turn largely the product of propaganda efforts for the War on Drugs. But for nearly 100% of users, LSD is one of the most psychologically beneficial drugs ever developed. It is the most effective treatment for alcoholism, and I can personally concur that it is a powerful way to consciously steer one's tendencies. 80% of users rate LSD as the most educational experience of their lives. Like I said, read up on the history. The public conception of LSD is even more distorted than the BS on the "above the influence" ads.

Now about the most destructive drug? There's been research on this, in several dimensions of destruction. I remember finding the link to the actual study a while ago, but it takes some work.

I dont think there is such thing as a worst drug simply because everyone is different.

i know people who smoke crystal meth regularly and they dont look like chapped-lipped zombies (for those of you that have seen the "not even once" billboards"). They just have normal regular lives with jobs.

and i also know people who have thrown up and passed out from a joint and never wanted to smoke again (sometimes meth users too).

even if the question was whats the worst drug for you physically, youll still get different answers.

I haven't tried anything other than weed, but I think LSD would have to be the worst drug possible. I'd rather suffer physical damage than mental damage. Your mind is your most important asset. LSD targets your mind. I've heard stories of people taking acid and never being the same mentally. That's scary.

More either naive or armchair experts talking about LSD. I did all drugs to excess way back in the 1970s, and believe LSD to be the most dangerous drug there is. All drugs include Heroin, Morphine, Opium, Barbiturates, LSD, Speed, Ganja, etc. Somebody talked about the benefits and BS, but they are the ones who are naive with the BS. You get people talking about it who have either never done it, or just taken a tiny dose a few times and are naive. When I first started taking acid I wondered what all the fuss was about, and I thought the horror stories were BS. I started taking greater and greated doses, until one day it took me apart. I have never been the same since and have suffered from HPPD from that point. On this trip I tried to kill myself and ended up going crazy, and had to be hospitalised, Had to be filled with goodness knows what and strapped down. Had flashbacks from that point, and HPPD to this day. Also had numerous breakdowns related to this, and mental problems to this day. Don't talk to me about how safe acid is end the BS connected with it. Those people are the ones full of BS. I would say however (and this is NOT BS), that the amount of LSD in doses in those days was many times over what it has been since. Check that out if you want. I HAVE HEARD SO MUCH CRAP ABOUT HOW HARMLESS LSD IS FROM PEOPLE TALKING OUT OF THEIR ARSE. One thing that dimwits do not take account of too is the amount of use. Duuuuuuuur ! Alcohol is more dangerous my arse, never heard anything so stupid in my life. Still like a pint now, but you can keep the nasty stuff !

There is this drug that is rampant in Russia right now called "Krokodil". This stuff is so bad, it literally destroys your tissue and for ever time you shoot up with this stuff. It is considered a year off of your life. According to the health ministry in Russia, the life expectancy for a Krokodil addict is no more than 3 years. Heroin is actually much safer than this drug and that is saying a lot.
