what events should we have to raise money
Usually the best ways to raise money involve doing something with little to no upfront cost. The carnival is cute but you could easily spend a thousand dollars getting it set up. Face painting is fairly cost effective provided you find an artist who is good and willing to donate their services. Usually the best money makers are bake sales (parents donating baked goods) and car washes. Of course since it's winter the latter may not work so well. You can also try something fun and unique like an international day, where students or parents make popular international dishes (German, Irish, Italian, Spanish...and so on) and people pay 5 bucks or so to come in and walk around and try foods. That would depend though on who all contributes, if not many do then it's not worth it. 1

We should have a mini carnival in the gym and have people pay three dollars for 5 tickets or maybe 5 five dollars for ten tickets and maybe ten dollars for twenty tickets and they use the tickets for the carnival games and maybe have prizes and have student council volunteers run the booths and maybe a student council members can collect the money and give out the tickets what events should we have to raise money Hello c: Have an auction.. People LOVE to bid on stuff... Use the fact that the money raised WILL go for a good cause, and you can GET people to donate the stuff you're gonna sell.. Sounds like you're kids.. So, have it be toy auction, or video games or whatever kids like.. Yes, it's gonna take a little bit of work.. But, there are NO upfront costs.. excon 1
