Challenge Debate: where did the singularity or condenced energy that expanded in the big bang come from?
i aint a zealot or anything. it just seems logical to me that universe couldnt have come about by chance since if the singularity before the big bang(ie. the universe evry thing that exist) is not eternal then before anything existed nothing could be around for it to cause chance or any thing to

Contrary to common knowledge (and what the name suggests), there was never an actual explosion in the Big Bang. Rather the Big Bang in and of itself was a rapid expansion, in a extremely hot and dense state. Eventually, the universe cooled down and returned to it's previously expanding state. As for the actual debate question, there are several theories on what actually caused the Big Bang theory; none of them having an adequate amount of data to be considered scientifically correct. 366 days ago | Side: it is eternal??
