First of all, I would like to see where specifically the bible contradicts itself. I've never found a place. When you study the bible, when you really study it, and don't take one phrase out of context, you find that each one harmonizes with the other. Some people look at one verse, and try to make a whole sermon on the subject, or say "see the bible is contradicting itself."When, in fact, what you're really doing is taking one piece of the puzzle and trying to make a picture; that's going to give you the wrong info every time. God says "Seek and you shall find,if YOU SEEK WITH ALL YOUR HEART." Many people don't search for answers with all of their heart. God doesn't just put the information you want out there; you have to want to find the answers. If God just put the answers right there for you to find, then it wouldn't be valueable to you. What do dad's always want you to learn? The value of a dollar. If he gives it to you, you have no concept of how much work it took to get that dollar, so the son spends as if nothing, but if he had to work for it, he appreciates it more then if it was handed to him. Don't make a case on a verse that may seem to go against what the bible is saying, instead, compare it with more verses on the same topic, and you will see that that verse wasn't contradicting, but rather adding more to the answer. Remember a puzzle needs many pieces to be complete, so you can see the full picture, and not just one piece and then you try imagining what it is. if the bible was a book of fairy tales, it wouldn't be the most printed book ever, it wouldn't change millions of lives, and Jesus wouldn't have said that he was the word. It is like no other book, because God himself made, and inspired all the bible writers. God doesn't contradict himself.
