1.) What software are you talking about exactly (examples).
See, I say it has no good software because when you go to Walmart... amazingly.... there's no mac software. I wonder why? You browse on the internet and most free games and apps you can find were built and compiled exclusively for Windows... Or sometimes Linux. I don't know why it works that way.
2.)Apple has Mac only Applications and because it's based on Unix, you can run ANY Linux application natively in OS X.
I don't know where you got your source for that but it's a lie. OS X is a heavily modified and customized Unix. It lacks libraries and dlls and compatability with those libraries in order for it work work with all Linux applications.
3.)Apple hardware is not proprietary.
You proved your own point by the OS X's lack of ability to adapt to other hardware due to a lack of drivers. It's proprietary.
4.) Linux's open source software (including Wine) and free games all run on OS X.
See number two.
5.)More than half od the servers in the world run Linux because it is smooth and secure but mainly because IT'S FREE.
Hey, don't fault it because it's free. That's just all the more reason not to buy an expensive ass mac and build a Linux machine instead.
6.) OS X has everything Windows has besides Direct X. Instead OS X uses OpenGL.
You'd be surprised how many games use Direct X instead of Open GL. Plus, it's NOT just the graphics libraries that count. It's the fact that most of these games are built and compiled exclusively to run with windows machines because macs just aren't a good market for games.
