I understand that tradition is that Christ called men to be in his ministry and that the 12 apostles were men and that the perfect priest would have been Mary, but Jesus didn't choose her. But I think the number of clergymen is decreasing and sometimes we need to end silly traditions for reasons like this. If we continue to lose male priests, I don't see why individual parishes should have to suffer because the Vatican is such a stickler for the rules.

Also I read this other fantasy book called Harry Potter and in it muggles weren't allowed to go to the wizarding academy called Hogwarts, so I think only wizards should be able go because it said so in the book.
