Ah Jeez,
In the Bible, Adam and Eve were naked, and were not made to wear clothes until they felt shame. The most common english translations are incorrect and would lead one to believe it was the nakedness that was bad, it was not.
There are quite a few interpretations of what this parable meant, most likely what it meant by "eating" the forbidden fruit, was non-baby making sex. They were doing it, perhaps during Eve's period? When pregnancy would have been unlikely? Maybe some oral, you know "eating"? Not sure they were that clever though. Unfortunately it's been translated so many times no one really knows, and the originals are lost to time.
At any rate, the idea behind the clothing in the Puritan sense, was that Adam was not able to control his hormones, and would be compelled, through no fault of his own, to mount his woman at every oportunity.
Which is why hardcore Old Testament religions like their women hidden under a mountain of clothes, barefoot, and pregnant at all times.
So it's basically based on sexism. Another in a long line of reasons why the Bible is a ridiculous source for a moral code.
Private nudity would most certainly not be okay according to this parable, even in a marriage, unless it was for the express purpose of baby making sex.
There's nothing in that parable that would lead one to believe it's even okay for a husband and wife to be naked together. That's just the Bible people picking and choosing what they like, or the furthest they think people will accept. Typical.
If one feels no shame in being naked, then there's nothing wrong with it. If someone doesn't like it, don't look, if some guy feels an uncontrollable urge to rape, buy a hooker.
"You mean jack-off right? haha, I mean buying a hooker is sinful... well so is jacking off, but hookers are worse!"
Wrong again Bible dude. "It is better to pour your seed on the belly of a prostitute, than to let when drop touch the earth."
Which means hookers > masterbation in god's eyes...
lmao,
but try to get the flock to accept that obvious interpretation,
pick and choose, pick and choose.
