This is too easy

If Einstein was a genius and believed in God, then what does this make atheist?

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."

The argument on whether God exists or not is not one based on intellect or physical science. It's based on philosophy and reasoning.

Einstein did not believe in God. He just didn't believe that we were smart enough to know whether there was a God or not. If Ledhead is still around, he'll say that Einstein is an atheist and that Agnostics are atheists and such, and on a scale of "you're either atheist or theist" than he would be right. But philosophically, Einstein was not an atheist, but do not try and claim that he believed in God.

To believe in God is to suggest that there is a God. Einstein claimed that there's no way of knowing.

Either way, it does not matter if you're an atheist or a theist, intellect depends on how much of the physical world you understand. Even a theist must be willing to put the idea of God to the side when trying to figure out how the physical world works.

You can post whatever you want. I myself am not especially interested in debating the nuances of one man's religious outlook.

I sure do have fun correcting you on like every comment you make thewayits. You just keep being wrong.

Einstein was what could be best be described as a deist, much like most of the U.S. forefathers, and much like the majority of great minds through out history before the details of the big bang were hammered out link

So what does that make the person who starts a debate misrepresenting the opinions of what was perhaps the greatest mind of our history?
