What Does the Republican Party Have To Do In Order To Gain High Office In 2012?

The Republican party has suffered losses all the way around since the last election.  What do you think caused this and what would they have to do in order to gain back seats in Congress or even gain back the White House in 2012?

They need to get their s*&# together. The Republican party needs to unify itself under someone who is a real conservative and not a moderate, a recent poll showed that 40 percent of Americans recognize themselves as conservatives. They really need a unified base in order to win and they need to fight and stand up up to the Democrats. They need balls.

"It consists of two main factions- libertarians and Christians"

Libertarians are seperate political party. I know several libertarians and they all go to church and have strong family values. What you are saying is stereotypes. Not all Republicans are Christian. That is like saying all atheists are democrats. Reagan was one the most conservative Presidents in History.
