You cannot deny the existence of God, even if you believe in theories like evolution. Every natural thing has "God" written all over it, whether you think God is one big powerful being, or some kind of collective consciousness.

God has put it in our psyche, or maybe DNA to believe that there is something greater than we are. Go to the most primitive and the most advanced societies on earth, and you will notice that these two believe in something or someone greater than they. It's in our psyche. But if you don't believe in anything you will fall for everything.

If there are ghosts, there is a god. Right? We cannot prove either, but if we were to assume there is, indeed, an after life, or that there are spirits, that basically proves the existence of god simultaneously. It would be automatically beneficial to assume there is a god if we can prove the existence of ghosts because we know there is an after life.... life that goes on forever. Why not "waste" your time here on earth praising a God, or learning about it, if you're going to live even after you die?

My point is, if you can prove the existence of ghosts, you can safely assume, for once, that there is a god as well. That's my two cents, and I'm not even religious.

I know, ass u + me. I'm not saying my opinion holds truth, I even state that it's just an opinion.

Like I've said, I'm not religious but I would be much more interested in it if we were to prove the existence of spirits. Not over the edge, and I would probably pick up Buddhism because it seems most reasonable beyond the part about spirits.

It would be hilarious though, to know that ghosts were produced in the pentagon.

How many times have you said aloud ,"oh God", when you are in a fix or in a difficult situation? For those who do not have faith in God, try to remember God, whatever your religion or faith, and see if you find some peace or way out of your problem.

well, God is an undefined source of power of the Universe. It can from a divine being to a Superior force of Energy that controls the Universe... it's more reasonable.

Ghosts... don't really see how they can exist... so i can't really believe in them.

I believe that god is everywhere, or at least some definition of god. If you are part of any religion (or have had exposure to religion). Friends of mine that say they don't believe in religion do believe in some sort of "higher being" or a god.

Truthfully though, I also have had an experience that makes me believe in ghosts.

While I don't believe in either too much, God is much more probable than ghosts, since you can craft a philosophical argument for his existence, while for ghosts... you have "sightings", which could be due to many different things.

I'm sure that it's because to some people see themselves as not being worthy of even writing God's name.

My brother made a connection with the Big Bang Theory with the creation of the universe by God. The Big Bang Theory started out as a tiny ball of energy that exploded, making everything, including us, by that energy. If you replace the ball of energy with God, and since we were made in God's image, we were made by the ball of energy, aka God.

Why do you write G_d, instead of God?

umm okay. . .gotta go with . . .

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

if there are ghosts. . .there is God.

this is not a chicken or egg debate. . .

if we exist afterlife (ghosts). . .a greater power exists.

now I personally do not find the personification of God as an old white dude accurate. . .she is not amused.
