Tom Udall has been endorsed by organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign for his firm stance on equal rights for the GLBT community. He has consistently voted in such a way to promote the rights of all Americans, including a NO vote on defining marriage as one man and one woman, NO on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage, YES on prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation, and he also voted NO on banning gay adoptions in Washington, DC.
