Yes, I believe government is necessary for many reasons. Without the government the world would be chaotic. In order to prevent chaos, policeman are hired, but without government there's no police. The government is supposed to maintain peace and order, but without it there would be a lot of people committing crimes every day if there were no police present. The world would be an unsafe and unorganized place. The way government helps the world to be safe and organized is by hiring people to protect everyone and to fix things that we use in our every day lives, such as roads, buildings, bridges, street signs, lights etc. If these things werent present the world would just slowly crumble and tear apart because there is no one to do or fix these things. Everyone that has a job that is under the government would be jobless meaning that there would barely be any jobs for anyone and it would be more difficult to find jobs that are not under the government. There will also be no insurance or health care for anyone, but that really wouldn't matter because all doctors, dentists, etc. would not exist since there would be no jobs. All and all i think Government is necessary to maintain everyone's lives and to keep everything in order.
