Because the Arabs thought they could defeat them, so they attacked. The Jews defended their country well enough to be able to keep it.

They can't just make things up like that. The jews actually did have the land promised to them, by god himself

My reason they should be more entitled to the land is that they developed it.

The jews have nowhere else to go. They should be able to live where they once did in peace.

Most people in Israel are jews, which would make Israel their home. Palestinians have other places to live. Jews don't.

So all the work that they did to make the land good was thrown down the drain? I don't believe that is very fair. The jews need a place to live, why not make it where they once did live.
