The reason why I strongly disagree of war not being justified is lacking of using diplomacy and the Right intention principle in the "Just War" theory. As many wars always start, they go straight to war itself, creating innocent bloodshed and destruction among cities. It's true that few of the many wars have a reason to fight for their cause, but they end up causing more bloodshed than it needs to for their cause.
Russia made a good decision for themselves and for America to share. Russia was able to get out of debt from it when they sold Alaska, and U.S Eventually found out that there were essential resources; Gold, and Oil, which created more profit for themselves.
