I agree with this comment. I believe that a government is necessary to have. They provide us with safety and make us feel safe. If we did not have the public services that the government provides us with, as you had said, then pollution would rise by an alarming rate. I believe that without the education that the government has provided for us, generations would not be where they are today. The government does provide us with structure, stability, and peace, and without those three things our country would crumble.

I believe that we should live under a government. Having a government is a necessity. First, living under a government provides us with military protection. If the government were to not exist then there would most likely be no military. The government provides us with military protection which keeps out any invasive countries, and allows us to defend ourselves in times of need. Under a government, every citizen has equal rights to an education. The government provides public schooling for anyone who wants an education. With no government, public schooling would not exist. Another reason the government is necessary is because they provide laws. With no laws, the country would not function. Crime rate would increase drastically and everyone would do as they please, making the country unstable. Stability is one of the most important thing that the government provides. One of the main goals of government is to keep peace for their people. The only way to keep peace is to have a steady and stable government. The government provides us with regulations on things such as food and water too. There would be no one to collect your trash so trash would be everywhere. Since food would not be regulated, it would not be safe to eat, and water would be polluted because there would be no restrictions on if toxins could go into bodies of water. Pollution would be at an all time high if there were no government to regulate it. It is for our government that our country has not fallen apart.
