I feel that what you are saying is only half correct. You are now already mentioning all the different kinds of technology around us, and how it helps us. I feel that the world will not go into chaos if technology fails us. For example, during the 1960s banks hand-wrote the money that they kept in locked up using old-fashioned key locks. They did not have ATMs during that time, nor did they have credit cards or cash cards. However, they were able to cope. This shows that things will work slower than usual and people would be fustrated as we are used to speed and convenience. If there were no highway, again, things would work slower and people would be fustrated. The same goes for the telephone. We would just have to find a different and presumably slower way to communicate. This just shows how much we depend on technology and we live fast-paced lives because of it. As for kids using the computer, it is all about responsibility and how we manage our time.

I feel that technology is more of a boon than a bane. There are many types of technology in the world. For example, there are television, cars, bicycles, the internet and many more.

In the 21st century, you rarely see workers writing a proposal by hand anymore. We have printers and computers. All we have to do it to type it down, then print it. Colleagues can even discuss their thoughts on the issue via email. Television is also another type of technology. You do not have to buy the newspaper anymore. All you have to do is to turn on the telly to the news channel.

Technology has also helped the astronauts. People have travelled to the moon and many different planets with the help of more advanced technology and Science. Another type of technology that is a boon is the CERN which provides particle accelerators and other infrastructure needed for high-energy physics research for example, the Higgs Boson, also know known as the God particle. The theory is that after the Big Bang, no particle had mass. However, any particle that interacted with the Higgs Boson was given a mass. Now, a group of scientist at CERN are dedicated to re-discovering the Higgs Boson.

Many may argue that technology is a bane as teenagers will spend all their time on the internet gaming or they will spend all their time on their handphone playing games. However, teenagers should learn to control the use of their time. Everyone has 24 hours, everyone has the responsibility and choice of how they spend their time. Technology has nothing to do with the irresponsibility of others.
