How should they pay for it otherwise? Why not remove healthcare entirely?

Just because they are in prison, it doesn't mean they should have to surrender all of their civil rights and be treated inhumanely. Prison should have focus on rehabilitation and helping them become better people and function members of society, removing their access to healthcare isn't going to help them achieve this.

I say use both.

However the Kindle has a lot of advantages. You can carry hundreds of books, magazines and newspapers with you at one time. Access to immediate reference such as dictionaries and thesaurus. The screen on the paperwhite and kindle original use e-ink so read like a regular book and not a glossy screen like a tablet.

It can make reading more accessible for people by having really cheap books or free books.

My mistake, this should say; people who believe in a supernatural deity which causes everything in nature....

I don't know about statistically, but people who believe a supernatural deity is what causes everything in nature, space, time and the universe generally do not try to explore other causes, as to them, they already know.

A person who does not know, or does not claim to have the knowledge of the unknown tries to gain this knowledge though science, philosophy and innovation.

That's not to say all theists cannot help to advance, as many brilliant scientists and inventors have been theists, but they are the minority.

Atheism is not, in any sense a religion.

A - Meaning: Without

Theism - Meaning: belief in the existence of a god or gods, specifically of a creator who intervenes in the universe. Compare with deism

A person may hold views that could slide into the definition you cherrypicked from the dictionary, but these views have nothing to do with Atheism.

Atheism is a lack of belief, not a belief in the non-existence of a deity.
