Your right science derives from fact. There is biological fact that if you have an X and Y chromosome you are a male, X and X you are a female. It is as simple as that. Just because you wake up one day and feel as if you don't belong in your body or are another gender, doesn't mean that is true. Sure, you are entitled to believe whatever you want, but doesn't make it true.

If I was to wake up tomorrow and say hmm.. Even though I've been an American my whole life, I really feel like I am Chinese. And then try to convince everyone I am Chinese, post it on Facebook, twitter, etc. I would probably be sent to a mental health unit and evaluated/diagnosed.

When people say they fear the convergence of genders in bathrooms they usually say "I don't want my daughter in the bathroom with some 40 year old man claiming he's a she" or something along those lines. The problem doesn't socially arise with homosexuality, how many gay men or women do you know who would try to rape a straight man or women in a bathroom?

As for a secondary consequence on bathroom convergence, I was talking about hormone raging teens hooking up in bathrooms causing things such as teen pregnancy. I can think of numerous people who would try to have sex in school, allowing them in the same bathrooms is just too easy for something like that to happen.

This move won't last long. And the committee wasn't effective anyways. Hence, why almost every house rep or senate person has property, accessories, investments and bank accounts that is well above their pay grade (that goes for both reps and dems).

As for your wondering if the right do not care about ethics. Is affirmative action ethical? Is Bill Clinton's 1994 crime bill ethical? Are the current abortion laws ethical?

How is it possible that something has always existed? Where in nature or science has something always just been. Your entitled to your beliefs but how is it anymore logical for something to just always exist, than for something to be created out of nothing?

That is just not true. If a women was to get denied a job or negotiate lower pay because of wanting to have a child.. law suit, huge law suit. Major corporations obviously know that is a no fly zone. Maybe a decade ago it was acceptable but not in 2017.

As for the theory of the wage gap, it is exactly what it sounds like. A WAGE gap not a PAY gap. The major studies that showed there was a difference in women and men's income were mostly discredited year ago. They took the pay from all men in the work force and all women and compared them and found that after all those salaries were compared men mad on average 23% more than women.

I think there are more sensical reasons why the APA and WPATH back it. For instance, could you imagine the uproar in our current democracy if a disorder that has become so widely accepted was now officially diagnosed as a 'mental disorder'.

But your argument is invalid. The same situation arises for those with body dysmorphia. People thinking they are fat when they are skinny, or thinking they don't have a problem when they are morbidly obese. Yet, in the DSM there is anorexia, bulimia, body dysmorphia all can be diagnosed as 'mental disorders'. People can even get diagnosed with forms of delirium and psychosis for being morbidly obese but not thinking they have a problem.

As far as your stigma logic goes, they same social stigmas are portrayed on those with BD, though probably not as sever.

I'm sure not having gender based bathrooms would be very ideal in middle and high school. Seems like an great situation, for testosterone and estrogen filled kids to have alone time in a bathroom.

Or even better, at universities. Where leftists and feminists like to claim there is an astronomically high rape culture.

Abolishing bathroom restrictions has a lot more consequences than the minute chance a creepy old guy finds himself alone in a public bathroom with a child.

If people were more intelligent they would be protesting realty companies, car manufacturers, and phone companies.

There is no reason a 400 square foot apartment in NY or Boston should be $2000+ a month. There is no reason most car, especially cheap american brands imported from foreign countries should cost over $10,000. There is no reason a smart phone (iPhone, galaxy) should cost over $200-300 when they cost around $100 to produce.

But americans would never give up the luxury of having a high rise flat overlooking central park, or the latest and greatest cellular device.

So what is the deduced logic? Protest the amount of money we are making, instead of targeting the source - which would be the cost... liberal logic.
