Many have already tried to grab these resources before, but cannot do so because of the lack of money they possess, so might as well try to do the small things we can to save electricity.

(Sorry, triple post...and I couldn't think of anything.)

Even if our money would be wasted trying to make these things, at least in the long run, the future generation would get something good from in and be able to fix the other mistakes we have committed...

I do believe that bio fuels are a better alternative.

We can't keep on depending on fossil fuels as our main source of energy forever. As scientists (and my science teacher) would say, fossil fuels can be exhausted and sooner or later, gone...until a few thousand years or so. Our population increases as minutes pass by, and that means more demands for electricity.

With bio fuels like using water, geothermal, wind and others, we'll probably be able to last longer without the use of fossil fuels. At least we can have more reserves for the future right? If energy were to stop all of a sudden, can we really survive or adapt that quickly? For the ones who never lived with it in the first place yes, but admit it: If we're in this site right now, that means we tend to use the internet (computer) quite often...which equates to the use of energy.

Our only problem would be for the poorer countries to afford such machinery to build the necessary equipment to gain access to these bio fuels.

I am not the type of person who trains rock type pokemon, but I am the type of person who focuses on the offensive side.

Rampardos is a sturdy pokemon as I recall. Evolving from Cranidos, it's Zen Headbutt still packs a punch, even if its defenses are dangerously low. In Pokemon Battles (games), what normally counts is how fast you defeat the opponent instead of how long you last against him. Sure it may annoy your enemy that you can't defeat the thing in a couple of shots, but wouldn't it be a sweeter and quicker victory if you do a simple KO instead of wearing the opponent out? Though maybe it might be nice to win in a long battle, it is just as good to take 'em out in the fastest way possible. Rampardos can be used to do just that.

Even though it is true that the sword has shaped this world greatly, there are many times in history where it was clearly evident that surprisingly, the sword was scared or frightened of the pen's power.

Take Hitler for example: When he was in rule, he had all kinds of people arrested and sent to death camps because of their knowledge. This would include teachers, professors and others who could have written something that could have told others about the wrongdoings of Hitler. Another person who was afraid of what the pen could have done to his reputation was Ferdinand Marcos. He also sent many intelligent men to prison, this included Ninoy Aquino. He shut down all newspapers against him, and limited what they could have said about him.

So in a way, even if the sword had the people on its knees, they were still scared of the fact that the pen can overpower them. No matter how much they tried, there was always a way for it to shine.

Also, there would be less casualties that would arise if we would use the strength of the pen more often than the sword. In a fight, the pen may lose. But in a different view, it would...win in the end.

My last example is the two famous books of the Philippine's National Hero Jose Rizal. With those, the Filipinos were able to have the courage and the unity to revolt against their conquerors and establish the freedom of their country.
