I am a middle school student. I had to do a report on this. It was found in my research that it was considered animal cruelty and the results are terribly deformed animals. Plus it wastes billions of government dollars that could be going towards making the U.S a better place instead of letting the once great cities of the U.S spiral into the death traps they are becoming like Detroit was once a great place to be now it is one of the most violent cities in Michigan. An education is more important than constantly eating fattening foods. Without education the people who invented pizza wouldn't have been able to make the first pizza so without homework the education system wouldn't be as efficient. I have won this argument.

I am a middle school debate student. I know the downsides of homework but I also know the upsides . The homework tests your proficiency in the topic. I personally am failing math because of homework but I am proficient in the topics because of homework.

In addition there are these facts: Homework doesn't take all day; realistically you will have time for other things.

Homework allows practice for future endeavors, and teaches responsibility and organization skills.

Homework allows children to work at their own pace, without peer pressure.

Homework allows time to study for tests, and go over work that you did in class.

Homework is a necessity!
