I did a small bit of research, and attempted suicide is illegal in a few states. If you fail and the cops are involved, they put you in a psych ward for 72 hrs for observation. It's not jail, but you're freedom is taken away for a time.

The minor is incarcerated. It's a state law, so it varies state to state, but in this particular situation, the state is Florida, even if you are convicted as an adult, if you are under 18, the sheriff can only release your info to judges, police officers, school superintendents and Dr.'s. His tapes were released as public record and now he's suing the sheriffs department. Technically, well within his rights....

I don't think hardcore democrats will sway, but I found the video very interesting. There were about 30 other videos of the same concept. All had middle class white females saying they would vote for McCain over Obama. I feel as if they were taking the nomination personally.

Do I think they should? YES! Do I think they will? NO! Hillary's ego is too big to play 2nd string. That woman operates on a "All or nothing" philosophy.

I think it is an issue that should be regulated. I'm in no way suggesting that I think that suicide or euthanasia are light and solely personal issues. There should be terms and conditions such as it has to be done by a board certified physician, a psychiatric evaluation should be required for those without a terminal disease, and there should be at least one witness present.

Suicide IS legal. Euthanasia, assisted suicide, is a crime. Why should the government be allowed to punish a person helping me end my life at the time I choose in a method I choose?

I think this is an impossible argument because the question refers to 2 entirely different subjects. Freedom of speech is more of the ability to express yourself without censorship from government. PC - politically correct, is using the most generalized form to describe someones ethnicity, race, religion and sexual orientation. Black vs African-American, Homosexual vs Gay. It's not just in regards to the derogatory slurs.
