There are no such thing as "Islamic Children"...children are just children born into a race or ethnic group - Islam is a religion and ideology not a race.

No child is born hating anything but hunger and pain.

The question isn't about people anyway - it's about Islam the religion, the ideology...which IS inherently violent. This doesn't mean all Muslims are violent or follow it's violent teachings more than it's other teachings.

Wouldn't "fixing the backwards cultural and religious practices there" require the US to violate its own ideals?

Ideals? A country founded on stealing people's land, raping and murder of entire tribes and cultures and you want ideals?

The US needs to show some leadership and grow some balls. Invade properly, force civillisation of these savages - we're hated if we do nothing or do something so best to do something that will have positive long term effects for the region.

I don't know of many Americans who share similar religious ideologies as the Taliban but would recommend shooting them...I'm not a pacifist and don't believe in tolerating the intolerant.

Ideals are one thing. Long term survival and seeing your fellow humans wallow in barbaric philosophy is another.

Agreed...the human race is comprised of men and women. If only one gender survives we only have half the human race no matter how much clever technology we invent to sustain the species.

That's a fair comparison - however I would say that Islamic texts are a lot more violent than Christian texts...especially the core of Christian teachings which revolve around Jesus who was a pacifist who told his followers not to fight back when attacked.

Muhammad led men to war, gave his followers rules for the taking of women as spoils of war and ordered many people killed. I realise that in the 7th Century this was quite normal and he may even have been quite moral in his day but as an example he falls short (next to Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun I'd say).

But to go back on track do all Christians believe it's fine to kill abortion doctors? No because the majority of Christians follow Christ and so despite strongly disagreeing with someone would not dream of attacking or killing them. There is simply no mandate from Christ for that sort of thing. Perhaps in the Old Testament but the Jews follow that and they don't go around stoning people, blowing themselves up in Berlin cafes as revenge or beating their women folk in general.

Regarding Muslims there are not many active radicals but there are a lot more supporters of this doctrine and even more silent and indifferent enablers I'd say.

To compare Blair, Brown and Cameron shows you have absolutely no idea of Hitler's politics or policies...and no sense of history.

People think Hitler was bad because he was a genocidal maniac who turned an enlightened nation into a murderous machine of death...

I can only assume your views are a product of higher education today.

I really love the USA and feel a lot of kinship with most Americans.

However England is my home, my land and the land of my ancestors for thousands of years...the home of the English language and fine ales and decent roast dinners.

I've been to the USA many times and could live there easily...but England will always be in my heart.

I think this is a very simplistic view (and also extreme) of a far more complicated reality.

It doesn't take into account the middle classes which have risen dramatically since Marx wrote nor does it take into account a definition of wealth.

For some people having food, shelter, the ability to educate their children and seek medical treatment is a sign of great wealth and prosperity. For others if they can't have the same things the owner of a multi-national corporation has they are poor and oppressed.

I think in most cases in the west it's the latter - few people live in the kind of poverty Marx saw in his time these days in the West. And even poorer countries have less hunger (thanks to capitalist donations of skill and money and medicines) than they did 100 years ago.

Neither are correct in my view...reality is we all need each other and should strive to pay fair wages to support basic human needs and have reasonable work hours....beyond that it's a case of luck and/or the desire of a person to get richer. No one is owed a living or owed wealth they didn't earn through their own skill, intelligence, work etc.

Yes because English already dominates the world as the language of the internet, of commerce and of science..it's the most common second language in the world already...

It's already the default language of the USA anyway so what's the problem?

As an Englishman my only gripe is the US should try to adopt proper English but I think more Americans have trouble understanding British and International English than the other way around hehe.

It was not justified because unless they invade properly, impose secular government and education for at least 20 years nothing can be achieve. The US needs to admit they are fighting a religious ideology not a particular group with simple political gripes.

It's not even an invasion - more an extended action. In my opinion it should be totally annexed...people already hate the West anyway so why not do things properly and fix the backwards cultural and religious practices there??

He murdered millions of his own people....he killed at least double the people Nazi Germany did.

Evil bastard - and his ideology still hasn't been defeated.
