Today, it is the world's second-largest economy and produces 15% of global GDP (Figure 1). China's exports grew by 16 percent per year from 1979 to 2009.
The Asian economic bloc of countries accounts for over a third of global GDP, 33.84 percent, representing the largest chunk of the world's economy. North America comes in at second with 27.95 percent of global GDP

Asia represented little then and a lot now. Germany had less competition in 1969 than it does now. Many countries that had small economies then have much bigger ones today due to globalization. Having a larger percentage of the world's economy does not make it bigger than Merkel's economy in a world dominated much more than then by China, the United States, and numerous other countries that have grown economically.
That also is untrue. They were indicted as part of the Russian collusion investigation. Two of Trump's advisors are guilty of making false statements to the FBI during the Russian collusion investigation.
They were indicted by the Russia collusion invetigators. They were not indicted on anything regarding Russian collusion. Do you understand the difference?
