A government is very much needed in today's society because without it there would just be utter chaos in that country nothing would be safe or secure. Government is needed because there would be no stability or certain sets of rules for people or limits on them, people could just do what ever they wanted and get away with it with no consequences the country would fail in general. Without the government keeping everything in check noting will be safe to eat or drink because the government wouldn't be able to check if the water is good to drink or to check if the food is safe to eat or any emergency services intact. It could also open possibilities of another country coming in to invade and seek dominance or extending territory. Its also good because you have a strong and powerful military in line protecting us from harm from another country trying to change our way of life. Overall i think government is very important for everyone.
