Nope; an adult who has sex with a child is not always a rapist. They might be. But it is all about consent- if the child gives consent, the adult is not raping the child.
HOWEVER:
that does not mean I think it is morally right. Sexually manipulating children" and "paedophile" are more suitable words to describe such a vulgar act.
Judged by your definition, you are saying that when you have a chance of reproducing, you are having sex. So in vitro fertilization is sex because you, based on your own words "have a chance of getting pregnant?"
You might wanna reconsider your definition of what sex is.
I read a definition on dummies.com that says:
"One thing that all forms of sex (outercourse, oral sex, anal sex, and intercourse) have in common is that they involve two people giving each other the pleasure that comes from having an orgasm."
In other words, it is pleasuring each other with the purpose of giving the other pleasure. If one of the two members is sexually stimulated from the experience, it is sex.
Completely agree. In my argument, I mentioned how the Bible actually DOES support murder, so let's take the Bible out of the picture and think about the people that would have destroyed our world if we hadn't killed them (for example Hitler.)
There are so many movies out there where a bunch of people get murdered, and we side with the good guys as they murder a bunch of bad people. However, we never really stop to think about whether this is ethically correct. According to the Old Testament, most Jews who followed our God would murder people to claim land, and this was seen as ethically okay. So yes, murder is acceptable. If there was no murder of Osama Bin Laden, he'd still be alive. So would Hitler. People think murdering is a cruel thing, but by murdering certain people we are helping keep humanity stable.
I think that is a good idea. For high school report cards, I think each teacher should have a "Interactions with class, Discipline and Organize" mark:
Interactions with class- How good they are at explaining
Discipline- Keeping the class under control
Organize- How good they are at organizing what to learn in class
Each section you can write a few positive and negative comments, so the teachers know what to improve. The most commonly mentioned comments from each class (for example, if a teacher was told they need to slow down more in explaining maths) would be on the report card, for the class the teacher teaches. Good question. :)
There is a reason Communism has been tried many times, and each of these countries became "third world countries." If you look back in history, many countries, such as Russia as one example, have become absolute shit due to communism. No matter how hard we try, communism can't be achieved; making it impossible to be better than capitalism. I mean, if there was one million dollars on a table, you were a police officer(equivalent to being a Government officer in those countries,) and you had the choice between sharing the money or not, you wouldn't would you? Well that's what eventually happens in those countries. History has shown time and time again that communism doesn't work, and no matter how many times we try, it really won't become better than capitalism- "survival of the fittest, the way nature was intended"
One of the many problems is there are some people (such as the person who posted this question) who are fundamentalists, and disregard all other opinions. I personally believe it does take atheism to be an atheist because you are, like believing in God, having a belief about something. However, not all Atheists are arrogant as many are saying, neither are all Christians judgemental/oblivious (as many others are saying). To be honest, I just think its best to live your life to the best you can, have faith in what you believe, and even if you are wrong about your Religion, if you live your life well you will still end up in the best position after you die.
