You kind of did repeat it but whatever.

Anyways, you're wrong. Thanksgiving is actually the celebration of capitalism. link

Sorry you had to be taught the "America's bad" version that is being taught in many schools today.

here's another link

I find myself leaning towards being a libertarian more every day.

Partly because you can't force people to do the right thing. Which is the biggest flaw that conservatives, mainly republicans have. (prohibition of alcohol etc.) And that's just it I can't decide what "doing the right thing" is for you, that drinking alcohol is a bad choice for you. Just like you can't decide that I can't eat 4 big macs a day. (not that I do =) Although they are both unhealthy, there is no law involved. Its none of anyones business how much unhealthy things I consume(except maybe close family) let alone the government.

It's just hard to bring myself to be for legalizing weed, or for same sex marriage. Although I guess I don't have to be for any of those things. Instead I'm just for freedom.

As a religious person it makes more sense to be libertarian because the best way to show people to do the right things are through example. Not through the law.

It's not an easy change to make. But I'm getting there.

[as for weed, If it's legalized it should be legalized. I don't like this gray area with shady clinics for people who "need it" can just come and get their fix. It just seems dishonest. We should officially legalize it or officially NOT legalize it. Make sense?]

Hey nice job electing Chris Christie!

Anyways, most conservatives hate the north east, but I like it. Minus the liberals. (=

I actually prefer it in the middle. Not quite long but not really short. But I hate the way my hair looks when its more than like 1 inch long.

It just depends on the person. I happen to look better with short hair. So thats what I have.

If I liked the way I looked with longer hair I would grow it out a little. But I don't.

It just depends on the person. But you can't really go wrong with short hair.

[if you're talking about women, I prefer long]

I do not agree that people that don't go to church are all atheist.

I never said that.

I agree!

Just not the part about how never bathing and not cutting your hair is manly, ...it's not. A man takes care of himself.

Anyways, I happen to love scented candles. ((:

What I believe is irrelevant.

No it's not.

Because a belief has to come from something, and yours about a unicorn came from nowhere.

One sounds more ridiculous because you wanted it to. To make a cheap point.

aborting when there is no consciousness isn't the same thing as murder

Yes it is.

If abortions are illegal people get them anyway, not an infant is "saved" and tons of women wind up dead from botched abortions in dirty basements.

Yes, people break the law. We have laws to benefit people, it's unfortunate that some people wont take advantage of it.

But I think many infants would be saved, because not everyone brakes the law. And if legal it will become more popular.

Why is it that people like you never support law enforcement? You just say "let people do bad things and it wont be as bad".

As for your #2, ..it doesn't matter who does it, it's still murder.

Okay I see what the problem is.

When I said: "Well hey, there's other options. I just think it would be easier for them to make their own union but they don't want to. Not my fault."

I wasn't talking about black people. I was talking about homosexuals.

Sorry to disappoint.

It looks like I cannot unban, I didn't realize it was permanent. I will remember this next time and give a fair warning before committing to an action.

If an individual wishes to be patriotic they can do so through arguments. I created a debate, not a soundboard for random shouting.

When someone goes to a debate and announces: This is my position, no argument! They are not debating, and they can kindly go somewhere else.

I will unban you if you decide you'd like to contribute to a debate. I have a pretty low-threshold for what an argument is, Pyg passed after all.

Did you see the halarious skit on SnL Obama has done nothing. It was so funny but true. You know when SnL is starting to make fun of a left President something must be true.

I'm an independent that can care less if one is conservative or liberal. i do my homework and just look at the facts and stay unbiased as much as possible. Overall I would say that I'm economially conservative since that was my major in college. Econ. I just work hard for my money and don't like goverment to keep taking it to useless things that I will never even use or see.
