"I have no issue with conservatives"
You're funny.
Anyways, whats so ridiculous about him? I know it's easy to be general but whats so "insane" about sitting down and reviewing historical facts and the common sense? What's so nuts about freedom and the Constitution you make things more complicated than they need to be.
We(the LDS religion) believe hell to be separation from god. Not an actual place with fire and lava. Just merely a lower heavanly kingdom. (we believe there are three).
So yes a benevolent God would give people the choice to be with god or not through their actions. That's the point of why we are here.

Why are you labeling random things as conservative and liberal?
I find it somewhat irrelevant because I like somethings that are considered "liberal" even though when it comes to political issues and economics I'm mainly conservative.
I like classic rock(considered to be for liberals) a whole lot more than I like country music(considered to be for conservatives).
As for Friday and Monday; I agree with what thepyg said.
Accuracy? It depends on the topic.
If you're talking about racial stereotyping (based on the description you mainly are talking about that) it would be about experience. If you live in a really diverse place most of your generalizations about other races will be correct. People may hate it and call you racist but that's their problem.
Generalizations in most topics are mainly based on opinion instead of fact. That's why people in a debate don't like it and see it as a flaw.
I personally like making generalizations. But I try not to in a debate.
...... What's your point?
I didn't know that about Dr. Seuss, or if it's true, but I will still like his work and be a fan.
And I still think cat in the hat is cooler than Jack and Jill regardless of their political views. [just not the Mike Myers cat in the hat, that movie was a BIG mistake]
Absolutely not. Not by law at least.
If I make a fast food company I'm gunna run the company however I wan't. Companies should have more freedom than that.
Not really an issue though, all the big fast food companies have those menus anyways, so that they don't look bad. And they know that there is money in healthy eating these days.
"Notice that the debate is about birth-control."
I did.
"Be aware that the founder of what became Planned Parenthood provided education to and access for woman about birth-control so they could avoid unwanted pregnancies or abortions. She was arrested on Federal obscenity charges for discussing the facts of reproduction."
That sucks, but it has nothing to do with my opinion on birth control and abortion.
"Be aware that many pro-life organizations also seek to suppress information about contraception."
So? I don't represent them I'm just telling you what I think.
"Ignore all that if you like and trot out old tired arguments against abortion"
If they are old and tired arguments, I'm sure you can find something wrong with them. So why ignore them instead of actually disputing them?
Old maybe, tired? how so?
"Does a woman really have a fundamental right to choose to not be pregnant?"
Yes, but that can happen without killing a zygote that's month's away from being a baby.
In my opinion a fetus should have a chance at having the fundamental rights that come with life. Women should have freedom with their bodies but not with a babies body. What did the baby do? What about the babies rights?

Jake - come back! Don't leave us! There are far too many liberals and far too few conservatives.
By the way, I think that the photo of Glenn Beck on the cover of 'Arguing With Idiots' is much better.
I take it, from your previous picture, that you are a fan of Conan O'Brien?
Twitter has confirmed that it is he who is using their site at the following link:

That doesn't sound like a very Mormon thing to say. "motherfr".
I know little about them - the Mormons. I do know that Bringham Young had some 50-odd wives when he died, etc. and that polygamy is a major source of controversy. What do you think of it?
Glenn Beck, I have read, is a Mormon.
P.S. As always, I mean no disrespect with these remarks. I simply have a life-long fascination with other cultures and religions and, when I get the opportunity, ask the questions I've always wanted to know.
Here's what I found.

Is this it?
I guess most people don't know those guys by name.
