1) Yes, but that isn't pornography.
2) A huge amount of people in society are not regular porn users. And many of the terrible effects of pornography affect the user and others around them, not society as a whole, just like the bad effects of drugs. And if you like, I could call drugs the king of the streets. We still function as a society despite worldwide usage of drugs.
3) When you watch pornography you get sexually excited (especially if you jerk off to it) which leads to a physical addiction.
4) Approximately only one quarter of porn users have watched pornography with their romantic partner.
Freedom of press means you can publish something with any opinion you want. Are we also allowed to publish things that involves real people being tortured? And you say you haven't experienced any side effects but I can guarantee you have and are either in denial or have not noticed them. I bet you also take drugs like meph and heroine. I also bet that you claim to not experience any side effects from the drugs you take as well.
Freedom of the press means the freedom to state your opinion. The 1st Amendment only applies in the USA anyway. And Pornography is not thoughts and imagination. Pornography is actual films/pictures using real people. And just because people that watch Porn don't go on killing sprees doesn't mean that they and others don't experience the terrible side effects it causes. Some people have gone out and raped people because of pornography anyway. And it seems to me that you are in favour of drug legalization.
Prohibition does work in many cases. Alcohol is just one case. And the internet is very easy to monitor so it will be much easier to catch people watching pornography. And how does the 1st Amendment allow pornography. Also you can't say that pornography “just isn't" a drug. You need to give a reasonable counter-argument. And most people who take drugs also don't go on a killing spree or rape their neighbour. Your point is?
