life has always been qualified. Actuaries regularly quantify the value of life. The denial of insurance due to a pre-existing condition is based on this idea.

You seem to be a fairly partisan person. It seems like you are suggesting that all democrats fit a specific stereotype and all young people as well. Not all young people lack the slightest sense of responsibility. Not all democrats disregard accountability. Not all republicans demand accountability. People can be fairly diverse, especially large groups like young, democrat, or republican.

All politicians lie, not just the ones from the other party. All people lie.

People will obviously differ by degree and frequency, but most politicians lie about some political issue one way or another. i am not sure why you only name politicians from the other side in regards to lying.

We might be using different definitions for some of these terms. What is your definition for nurture and determinism?

Not incapable, inadequate. New issues arise that are not addressed by scripture. When does life begin? At viability? Fertilization? Ejaculation?

What about AI? At what point is AI alive? What about sentience? At what point is an organism sentient or better yet, capable of religion?

Nurture can be deterministic or non-deterministic. Nature pretty much has to be deterministic. From my first statement about choices and fate, it should be obvious I am talking about non-deterministic nurture.

Change is necessary. Much of the teachings 2000 years ago are irrelevant to life in the 21st century. The bible also does not address new moral issues that rose through natural progress. The morality of these issues must be judged by humans interpreting the bible since there is no infallible pope in many denominations.

Only if you are a practicing catholic. Orthodox Christians and other denominations also follow the episcopal model but I do not believe a catholic priest would qualify for those denominations.

Since you are trying to use formal logic, you should address the assumptions.

There is no contradiction. If A is the absence of B, then A can exist at time C and B can exist at time D (C and D do not overlap). This leads to another assumption, chronology. While everything in our observable universe appears chronological even anticausality, it does mean that everything must be chronological.

You are also assuming causality. A leads to B. What about acausal and anticausal scenarios?

Wouldn't proper birth control by all eliminate the need for abortions and foster care? The only cases where they would still be applicable would be for accidents, rape, and Jesus.
