I've accepted the fact that I'm going to die, and even though I probably won't be happy about it, it still happens.

Trying to kid yourself into believing you're doing anything worthwhile is a waste of time. You go to school, you go to work (not even a job you like, but one you have to do regardless because you need to survive.)

You might just say you're passing time, waiting for your calling. But, you might die before you get that calling. Not everyone can be the next Noah, and who's to say God will choose you of all people?

It's unreasonable to think that we all have a purpose, because fact is, we are only here to continue the human race.

Because I look around and wonder why the hell is he not helping us?

I used to believe in God, but I've seen things and I know things that are incredibly horrible. You may argue that God wants us to fix our sins ourselves, or whatever, but then what's really the point of Him? Just to watch us suffer and die? What kind of God is that?

If God does exist, he is a major asshole.

Most people have sex because it feels good. And also, that kiss is biblical statement? What purpose does "smelling and tasting" each other's pheromones have if they're already mating?

You can't know what God likes and dislikes, because He is of a higher power. (If you're real, God, I apologize for my sarcasm. Really.) And anyway, if God finds all sins equal, and treats them equally, then we are all sinners and we are going to hell.

The majority of the population doesn't have sex for reproduction, but for pleasure. So, really no one should have sex, unless they are trying for a child.

For someone to say that homosexuality is wrong is really, really stupid. The Bible says for a man to be with another man is wrong, right? Well it says nothing about a woman being with a woman. (I'm not entirely sure on that, the last time I actually read a Bible was back in communion, and I was like, nine.) Anyway, it says that being a homosexual man is wrong. However, we are also brought up to believe that God loves all his children equally. People who are gay are still people. So that means God loves them as well. Otherwise, God is unfair, and doesn't love people equally.

Also, do we really have any right to judge people based on their sexuality? Is it any right of ours to say, "No you can't be happy." People should be able to love who they love, and they should be able to do it because it makes them happy. Honestly, does the love life of that guy sitting up at the bar concern you?

You don't even know him. You don't even know his name. You know absolutely nothing about him.

Who are you to tell him what to do with his life?

I think so, yes.

What's wrong with someone believing something, if it makes their life easier to live?

You can't.

A person can be attracted to someone at first sight, but you can't fall in love. If you did it would mean you only fell in love with their looks, (because remember, you don't know anything about that person at that point), and that is shallow. And love isn't shallow.

So really, you can't fall in love at first sight, because it wouldn't be love.

This is my opinion and I'm completely entitled to it. I am not forcing others to believe this, so do not be rude. Remember that.

I think, personally, that man created God. I've been raised as a Christian, so I know the faith pretty well. The Bible is a book, written by numerous authors that tell us what is supposed to be "The word of God." There is no proof however, that God exists. (There also isn't any saying he doesn't.)

I believe that God was created because of all the unexplainable things that happen. Because we are human, we automatically want to classify things, but we couldn't, so we built God. If something so extraordinary, so unbelievably epic, to the point where it was our Creator existed, we'd never have anything unexplainable at all. If you don't know why something happened, and no one else on Earth did either, you could simply say, "It was the act of God."

As humans, we need something to believe in. Whether it be God, or evolution, we need something to believe in. Because we don't want to be insignificant. Because we want to believe that things will get better. We want to have hope. We want to think that someone is watching over us, taking care of us. We don't want to be alone.

So, I think, God was created by man, so we could have an explanation for the unexplainable. Because we can't prove anything, really. We want to believe because it is easier than saying there is no answer.

Believing in God gives us a sense of calmness, that there just might be purpose to our life. He gives us hope.

But... Is it really a bad thing?
