Money cant buy happiness, if it ever so, then India would have attained freedom years ago compared to the fact that the country has rich wealth and heritage. we could have bought freedom thus leading to happiness.

Buying happiness using money, is like loving a person for his/her physical appearance. L Love for these things is sure to please and give a sense of happiness but as these physical appearances change, love for the person vanishes. Similarly, at some point of time when the person runs out of money, the pleasures he gained through them(not materialistic) will not last for long. Thus, proving the fact that there are things that cannot be bought for happiness. Few of such things are life, time, love and health.
