If God does exist and he is as the bible has described him to be (omnipotent and all loving) why are there starving children in Africa? If this is due to him 'eradicating evil' or some other argument that proposes that the death of children is justified then why do miscarriages exist and why are people born with terrible afflictions which cause them to have shorter lives than most. The question shouldn't be 'Is there any evidence that God does not exist?' but is there any more proof for his existence than say unicorns or monsters under the bed.

That's a reasonable point but the Brazilian gov have promised to invest large quantities of money into Brazil's infrastructure after both the World Cup and the Olympics. Not only this but the average tourism rate per year is estimated to triple after these events suggesting a better Brazil in the future.
