The future superpower of the world is the United States of America.
The USA has a better economy. The GDP of the US is overall better. It has historically been at least 4k more than China. Also, the USA has a much lower consumer inflation rate. The rate has been much steadier in the US while China has had many spikes.
The USA has stronger military.
The budget for the military is almost double the budget of China. They have much more money to spend if anything pops up. The USA has also has a much more equipped air force and military. They have almost 40,000 more tanks, and around 8,000 more aircraft. The US also has more than double the destroyers and 19 more aircraft carriers for the navy.
The USA has a stronger political position in the world.
They have 5 times as many allies then China at 60 compared to China's 11. The USA has more threats to China as allies too. The United States is very favorable in countries close to China. They have the highest favorability rate of any current city. They are liked by nearby cities of China like Bangladesh and South Korea.
The USA did make the right decision when they dropped the bombs on Japan. Because of Japans refusal to surrender, the nuclear weapon was one of the most intimidating and effective weapon to use at that time. The decision was based on the half-million expected allied casualties. A US Secretary said it was the "least abhorrent choice". The only other option would have been a very long and bloody invasion. The bombing, in a way, saved lives.
The U.S.A. should not be concerned about North Korea. North Korea's nuclear weapons are decades behind the U.S. bombs. It is unclear if NC has even produced a deployable weapon. If so, the bomb defiantly lacks technology. NC has had some success in the past, but they are outmatched by the failures. If NC were to attack, Japan and South Korea could easily stop any other attacks.
