I disagree and think that the US has the best military. The US has more military supplies in some fields. For example China has only 2,942 aircrafts while the US has 13,444 aircrafts making them more advanced.

The USA will be the 21st century superpower. Although China is improving quickly the US will be an over all super power.

Military winner: Regarding military statistics the USA spends more money on their military. The US spends 664 billion dollars on their military. (2.4% of their GDP) While China only spends 147 billion dollars on their military. (2.1% of their GDP) The U.S. supplies is also much higher. China has 1,710 self propelled guns while the US has 1,900. Along with other things like 4,788 armored fighting vehicles vs. 41,062. 2,942 air crafts vs. 13,444 air crafts, and 260 nuclear war heads on stand by vs. 5,100 for the US.

Economy winner: For economics the US definitely beats China. The US has a much higher GDP than China, for starters. The United States GDP is 18.6 trillion dollars while China's is only 11.2 trillion. That makes a 7.37 trillion dollar difference. Another reason the US economics are better than China's is because of the import and export rate. China exports around 2.2 billion dollars a year while importing only about 1.6 billions dollars which makes them lose money. Where as the USA exports around 1.4 billion dollars a year and imports around 2.2 billion dollars, this means they gain almost 800 millions dollars.

Political Winner: China beats the US politically because they value stability. Stability helps because it keeps them lower in debt. They stand in around 4-5 trillion dollars of debt while the US stands in about 20 trillion dollars in debt. Also the unemployment rate and imprisonment rate is much lower. The unemployment rate is 6.5% for China but the US on the other hand is 9%. The prison rate is 121/100,000 for China and 730/100,000 for the US.

I disagree because there were alternatives rather then killing people. We could have used the a-bomb to send a threat instead.

I agree because there were alternatives rather than killing thousands of people.

The bombings are often categorized as the only alternative to land invasion. The A-bomb could have prevented it all. America could have used this power as a threat rather than dropping a bomb and killing thousands. Since there was an alternative the USA was wrong to drop the bombs.

Actually the u.s. should be concerned because the U.S. believes that North Korea is developing a missile that can re-enter the earth's atmosphere with out breaking up.

Do you have some where you got your information? I am wondering how your example really fits into this.

Reasons why the u.s. should be concerned about North Korea and Kim Jong-un

1) The NK UN ambassador says “a nuclear warcould break out at any moment”

•If the UN ambassador is saying this this and has access to the governmental ideas then it could quite possibly come true

https://www.google.com/amp/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2017/10/north-korea-nuclear-war-break-moment-171017034147416.html

2) White house chief of staff (John Kelly) said Americans should be concerned about NK’s ability to reach the u.s. with a missle. The u.s. believes that NK is close to achieving a missle that can

re-enter earth’s atmosphere without breaking up.

• This is showing the u.s. is already worried about NK and Kim Jong-Un. Since the u.s. believes that NK can get a missle through the atmosphere and to the u.s. it brings panic to citizens.

Why veto power is good:

Motivates security council to make balanced decisions

Helps to restrain violence

*Can bring irrational decisions to an end
