Reading your post I came away feeling you really found GOD in your life. Which is a wonderful spiritual experience. But ,, there is always a but... But, your experience is not unique to the Christian faith. Many others have found this GOD relationship through other avenues, and describe their personal experience in a similar way. All I am saying is there are many paths to finding GOD...

Christians are like most practicing religions, in that , they confuse fact with faith. Many of the stories written in the bible were not originally transcribed on paper, so the stories were told orally to the people. History suggests that many legend stories were told in a sensationalized fashion for greater impact on listeners. The Bible is riddled with these types of stories.

My point to all this is Christians get stuck in the literal interpretation scripture and loose the metaphorical spiritual message. When this occurs most christians see the world through this "Critical Lens", thus causing more judgement. The Christians that talk alot about GOD do not impress me. Anyone can talk about GOD. Spiritually attractive Christians are the ones that never talk about it, but through their actions you see those Christ like traits of , compassion, kindness, humility, etc....
