I think citizen journalism does influence the professional journalism because it can easily happen that false stories are taken over as real stories by media who don't check their stories properly. However I don't think it endangers the professional role of journalism because not everyone has the skills for this without following an eduction for it and moreover, citizens do not have access to many events and press releases that only professional journalists have. So professional journalists will always be needed.

This is the first time I hear about eSports and I think I would personally prefer conventional sports. eSports might be interesting to some people because it might be more spectacular and extreme than conventional sports, but personally I prefer to watch something that comes from 'real' human effort than from computers.

I am pretty sure an international aspect in studies is beneficial for the student's personality since it broadens your horizon and learns you to see things from another perspective. However, it doesn't guarantee you to get an job since more and more students are gaining international experience by going broad so you really have to stand out to make that experience make you get the job.

I think that partly this is true because i think in general women do read more than men because they often have a better sense of language. However this doesn't count for everyone of course, i think it also really depends on the topic of the text and the purpose of reading it. I think women read more for leisure than men but men can read a lot as well when it really helps them with something. In addition, I think women very much enjoy looking at pictures as well because all women's magazines are full of pictures.

I don't think digital communication gives the same personal connection as face-to-face, simply because you can't look the other person in the eye. You can't read someones facial expressions and body language and therefore it is harder to connect. Also there can occur miscommunications from typos or wrong interpretation from text messages, while with face-to-face communication this can be more easily avoided or cleared up.

I also think that social media plays a huge role nowadays. Anyone who happens to be in the neighbourhood of a happening can take a picture or write something about it without knowing the whole story. The 'news' is taken over from Twitter by the media companies without checking it and this is how errors occur. Because of the big competition nowadays in the media world the media are hasty to come up first with the best story.

I agree with this. You can brand yourself with the company you work for as a part of it, but I think it's more important to emphasise the skills you learned there and the kind of projects you did for this company, without involving the company too much. If it's a well-known company it can even be good for your reputation since it means your work experience must be quite good, and it doesn't matter if you leave the company then because you take the skills with you.

Thank you for your opinion! You say you that privacy is an issue. Do you think this will influence the popularity of the internet in the future, since more and more people worry about their privacy?

Thank you for your opinion. So do you think these are disadvantages that might outweigh the advantages, either now or in the future? Is there a way we can warn or help people to avoid this from happening?

Winning Position: Does the presence of the internet only improve our life or does it have disadvantages too?
