I Suport using wireless technology in class room. Recent advances in wireless technology provide interesting and effective solutions to two perennial problems in large-classroom teaching. The first of these is how to encourage students to participate actively. In lecture classes, a variety of diversions can conspire to distract students from the speaker at the podium. Some of these problems can be alleviated by alternatives to straight lectures—for example, interactive learning techniques such as group discussion or student presentations. However, many instructors feel uncomfortable using these techniques. The second problem is how to monitor student comprehension. As instructors, we generally believe that our lectures are good and that the students are learning quite a bit. Nonetheless, in large classes we usually have no simple way of assessing how well students understand the material, other than by reviewing their midterm and final test scores. From day-to-day interactions in the classroom, it is extraordinarily difficult to gauge understanding. Conversing with class members can help students to understand the subject.

Nowadays, it is a usual thing to see lots of couples. And some of them,as believed especially by elders, are too young for that stuff. So there is become a question: Is age really matter in relationships?

Well, in my personal opinion - no.

Let me explain why.

First of all, to be with someone it is a personal decision of each person. Everybody decides by themselves are their age is appropriate to have a relationship or not. Having relationship does not mean having intimate relationship because it is another theme to discuss.

Second of all, we all live in the modern world where everything is possible. And just try to remember yourself at teenage age, when I guess more than half of us used to have a relationships. It was not extraordinary.

Thirdly, the problem is that adults say something like: "It is not love. Because both of you are too young" but how do they know is it really love or not? There are a lot of situations where people who started relationships in young age and married then. So, everything depends on people, on their seriousness in their relationships.

That is why, I think, age does not matter at all in relationships.

Absolutely. Students in these classes experience continuing pressure to participate in learning activities and become better, more involved students. According to the STAR project and other results of studies, in each grade level, starting from nursery school till the third grade, the small classes of 13 to 17 children in group have a positive influence on young people’s achievement.

I do not think that is right. I take the view that it is better to study in the small size-class for young people. After many researches and analyzes experts found out that it helps students to improve their academic achievement and to be better and active during the lessons. Forexample, in 1978, Smith and Glass found that classes with the few students had higher academic achievement during all grade levels, “especially if students were in the small classes for more than 100 hours, and if student assignment was carefully controlled. They found that the major benefits of reducing class size occurred where the number of students in the class was fewer than 20”

I believe that small classes influence on academic achievement and students’ level of the knowledge improves. The first reason is that teachers in these classes pay more attention to every pupil. Children understand that they have to work more hardly because teachers control them better. Also because of the pedagogue’s big attention on students in the small size class children work better, each of them has more time to class activities and freedom of creative own projects.

The second reason is that discipline is better. It means that young people are less disturbed during the lessons and they can concentrate their attention on study. It makes class atmosphere better and peaceful. Also “teachers have more time to teach” .Pedagogues do not spend more time to discipline and that is why they have more opportunity to use different ways and types of teaching. Children begin to be interested in studying, which often good effect on children’s level of the knowledge .You can see that because of reduction number of students in class, discipline becomes better and, of course, it improves academic achievement of these pupils.

But the most difficult situation happens when parents do not guess and notice what happens with their child. They do not know who an emo is and that is why there are a lot of accidents when emo kids found death by resorting to suicide. For example, did you hear about Hannah Bond? She was a girl, who hung herself because of quarrel with her mother. James Clench (2011) in his article“Suicide of Hannah, the secret 'emo'”wrote about his accident. Hannah Bond was 13 years old, when shekilled herself after entering a group of the self-harming "emo" cult in the Internet. “She had become an aficionado of the emo fad and she was a user of the internet, which enabled her to contact other emos all over the world, in particular America”, said Sykes (2008) in his article “Suicide of Hannah, the secret 'emo'” (p.4). Her parents were shocked because they did not know about it and did not notice that she had changed. They explained that her violent behavior occurred because of teen age and they did not imagine that it could happen.

I see that you mean. Of course, every person has to be individual, but I think that being theemo is often dangerous for a teenager’s health andparents’ nerve systems. I understand that the teen age is difficult period for young people, but it doesn’t mean that children must become some of the members of the emo subculture. They must try to solvetheir problems by other ways. I would not be so against being theemo if this subculture did not cause harm to teenagers. That is why I recommend for parents to be more careful with their children during their teen age and I have one good advice for teenagers: always think twice before doing something, which can hurt you because you have only one life.

2 points

I take the view that emo subculture is bad idea because I believe that being the emo is not a style for all life and it can be very dangerous.

The first argument, which a found when I analyzed this issue, is that being the emo is only one of the ways how teenagers can attract adults’ attention to them. Being the emo is not a serious decision of teenagers, but only their temporary life style. Sands (2010) in her article wrote that the second reason why young people chose to be the emo is fashion. Emo and other similar sub-cultures have become fashionable at present. There are a lot of popular Internet sites, which focus on the emo fashion and emo music. So after listening to this type of music and looking through emo clothes a lot of teenagers think that being the emo is their destination. Also, they think that by being the emo they can be an individual personality, but they only copy their favorite emo bands like Green Day and My Chemical Romance.

The second argument why I think that the emo culture can be very dangerous is that most emo kids are inclined to committing suicide. According to the article “Emo cult warning for parents”, written by Sands (2010), emos usually cut their hands and sometimes drink alcohol, especially girls. Emo kids usually have a sad mood and think that they have terrible fates. Also they think that nobody understands them and nobody can help them with their “global” problems, that is why they always think about death.

In conclusion, I am positive to write that teenagers, who are emo kids, are like children, who are always caprice and they do not want to become adults. They do not think what they are doing at present and about their future. They do not think about their parents, who worry about their children and want to help them, but do not know how.

Absolutely. The government and society should change the food industry around, creating healthier choices at cheaper prices and offering a less stressful environment for work and school. And there is also always family and friends. If you love somebody that has an eating disorder or just eats a lot, try to help him or her with whatever problem he or she has. Obesity related deaths are the number 2 cause of death in the United States. I am sure we can help curb this, but we have to work together.

1 point

Yes, that is right. Obesity is a growing health concern for both developed and developing countries. World Health Organization (WHO) figures indicate that obesity is a "global epidemic." Obesity is a severe condition of overweight. There are more than one billion overweight adults, and at least 300 million of them are clinically obese. According to statistics, over the past 15 years, the proportion of obese Americans increased by 85 percent.
