If she is raped she can give her baby to a family that want's it. yeah I know it has already been stated that there is enough Orphan's in the world, but you know what, I dare you to be the one to cut that baby from her, you be the one to watch it as it dies, if it isnt alive then why bother? We can only see thing's as human if they breathe talk and walk? Abortion is never right, but it is sometimes understandable. I would laugh my head off if we had come to find out that we killed some genius who would cure cancer in an abortion.

Lennie's death was justified. He lived a hard life, he was hurting people and animal's and he would never have gotten what he wanted the most, a place where he and George could be on their own and relax and own their little piece of land. George even says that he would just take his 50$ and go to a cat house and do it all over again, George had said for so long that he would be the one to give it to him, and he did. George sent Lennie somewhere he wouldn't have to worry about anything, whether you believe in religion or not you have to think about this, would you want to let the person you care a lot for be shot in the gut's and tortured by some messed up guy with 'little man syndrome' or would you take their life while they were happy, and in a way that they wouldn't feel a thing.

What about every other group, are we just going to kick out every race based on some perceived behaviors of an entire group? Where would we be without Martin Luther King, or Rosa Parks? To say that a country would be better without a whole entire race is just what Hitler was doing, except he just killed every race besides the one he deemed pure. I am still honestly surprised that even in this day and age there is so much racism going on. Should we kick out all of the Asian's to because it mean's our road's would be safer? How about all those Mexican's who take away all of the job's we don't even want to do. Or better yet why don't we just send all of the Mob affiliated Italian's back to Italy? Yeah, because getting rid of a race would make America a more loving and caring country.

First of all, I think if anything, we need to remember that we came to America and brought our own language with us, The Native Americans had to deal with us taking over. just to get that out there :P

Secondly I myself am Hispanic, I grew up in a Spanish/ English house and just so you know (Some Hispanic's pretend they don't know English.) America is not a melting pot, that implies we all turn into the same freakin thing, America is a chef salad, we are all different and we make one bad a$$ country, if you don't like it I'm sure Russia would love to have you. (No offense i really love Russians xD ) The government should definitely NOT be able to tell you what languages you need to learn, even if they already make American's take foreign language courses >.>

Yes the book is short and honestly the plot is pretty simple as well. I just got done reading this (Amazing) book for my English 10 class, and it had a lot of us going, there is a lot of foul language and a ton of slang, but the book is better because of it, could you imagine big 'ol Lennie talking proper English? This book has a lot of meaning to it and is a master piece, one thing to keep in the back of your mind is, Does George actually care about Lennie? Trust me, this is just one of those book's you need to read.
