I have seen enough. Even if people say that the gun is just the object and it is the person who sets the trigger, the government is not doing enough to look after people who do such mas murders. The social system is failing them and so the only way to protect society is to ban guns completely. This is a weapon that can be used for destruction by certain people. If the system is not able to stop people getting ready access to such weapon them then we must stop giving them guns altogether.
To some extent you may say that school that are more technologically dependant are giving student an upper hand by teaching them independence, access to more information and the best possible opportunities. What about these children that don't know how to handle such responsibilities? Schools are now allowing students to use smartphones for their research and by doing so I believe students are abusing the right and it is causing more harm then good. The free will to access anything anywhere about anyone at any given time is not a responsibility our children should be given just yet. They have not learn the appropriate skills to handle it and as we dump more and more freedom on to students without any restriction I see no way how this will benefit them . Think of it like alcohol. Without the appropriate laws and bans how do you think our society will be coping ? The same thing is happening with smart phones and technology. Unless schools put in place proper rules around the use of smart phone they are not doing making students any smarter.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
