From the look of your case, you are clearly biased. Women already take responsibility for many things and are just as responsible as men in most cases. However, because women are still unconsciously treated as inferiors by men, they can be subject to condescending sympathy when they make mistakes. In spite of this, many women are brave enough to admit that they did something wrong. If you only see women as irresponsible brats, you are clearly spending time around bad examples of the female gender.
Just think about it. FOREVER. That is not 100 years, that is not 100,000,000 years, no, that is FOREVER. Imagine living as long as you possibly want, and then multiply that by infinity. That is way too long, and by the time you realized what a mistake you made, you would be begging to die. But it would be to late. Plus, who is to say that your body would stay in good condition? If you lived forever, you would be 100% likely to catch a lifelong disease, and you might live forever in extreme pain or suffering.
No one will ever know "for sure" if or why a criminal committed his or her crime. There will always be a tiny, tiny chance that we do not have all the facts, and that 0.00000000000001% chance that the person is innocent will always be there. If we choose to ignore that chance, the death penalty is not longer justice, it to is murder.
Most people are put on death row for murder. If we kill people because they killed people, that makes us murderers also. Many will say that the death penalty is justice, but the victim must have done something to aggravate the criminal. All criminals have a motive. We say the death penalty is justice, yet it is just a crime to, and the crime is the motive. In the eyes of the criminal, the murder of his or her victim is justice.
