While high school can open up door ways into further careers, education and trade, it does not help students cope with life outside of school. While attending school, all of your decisions are made for you, it is only after you leave that you realise that you yourself have to CHOOSE what university you want to attend and what course you want to complete. Also, School education tends to focus on specific subjects that you may not ever use again, rather than on skills and other information that you may need later on in life. This includes the information, skills and knowledge you need to buy a car or a house, get a job, or make long term financial plans. Schools need to incorporate more life skills into their education curriculum.
I tend to agree with you on this. No nation in the world has successfully achieved true communism yet. We've seen Leninism and Satanism amongst others but not Marxist's true form of Communism. When we do achieve this, we may find that its better that what we have now.
Gender roles can be quite damaging to society and as a result should be neglected when describing a persons role in life. I recomend reading some of Adrienne Rich's poetry. Much of her work is based on her peronal experience with the stereotypical roles associated with women in the 50's and 60's, and how surpressed and powerless she felt.
People get breast implants for a number of reasons, one of which concerns self-esteem. If someone has low self-esteem and getting implants makes them feel better about themselves, I see no problem with it.
Who has the right to put restrictions on love? Who has the right to make something so beautiful into something that discriminates? Who has the right to tell others who they can and can't have a relationship with? Religion certainly doesn't. If love isn't racially discriminant, and if couples can differ in age, why should love and attraction between two people of the same gender be restricted by boundaries set by religion? It is the same with marriage. Many people believe that marriage is a commitment before God, but what what if you don't believe in God? Who is the couple making a commitment towards?
