How can anybody be close minded about any of what he just said? I am 100% that is a just a highly defensive thing to say in the wrongest context.
A different viewpoint (Atheism) is of course close-minded
So could any religious viewpoint be.
That doesn't make them a close-minded person about things such as pornography or anything else because at least they don't hate on opposing views until someone says something.(Like the fact you just made a very broad, hateful, spiteful, engaging opinion about atheists). I wonder if you would agree with what an ATHEIST, had they said the exact same thing this person just said. (Porn can cause addictions.) I bet that just because someone is on the same side as you, are you agreeing with them.
In the end I apologize for making it almost personal.
Something just had to be said.
I very much feel as though this is the only valid argument from the side that says porn is bad and I VERY much agree with you. I suppose other arguments could be valid but not if it has to do with reciting the bible. I ignore those because it feels like they are saying, "I support the idea that something is bad and sinful just because the next entity in-line said to have high power and knowledge (God, the Bible, Jesus, whatever).. said so
Which doesn't bring any evidence as to WHY it is bad.
P.S. I apologize to those I just disrespected by using the names in a way that may seem disrespectful.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
