Whilst he has been a disappointing President, he has been a good one, and even the things I disagree with him on aren't as bad as other Presidents. Just consider George W. Bush. He ignored memos saying Bin Laden was planning an attack which in turn meant the U.S were not prepared when he did attack. Then this led to his failed wars in the Middle East and contributed to the 2001 recession, which led to the Federal Reserve slashing interest rates and causing the bubble which crashed in 2008. This was particularly bad because he ran deficits in these good years, which is especially bad considering he inherited a surplus. He relaxed the debt to capital ratio, he clearly had no idea how to deal with the crisis either, not bailing out Lehmans, then when that was a disaster, bailing out the others. Not even mentioning his response to Katrina. Seriously, who thinks Obama, who has cut the deficit, grown the economy, has insurance rates at an all time high and healthcare inflation at its lowest for decades and has got unemployment down below 5% has done a worse job. Even the most ardent of Republicans can't deny Obama is the better President(unless they are racist or ignorant of both their records).

You need to read up on the anarchist society during the spanish revolution.

If it were possible, a benevolent dictator would be good however you have to ask a few questions about whether or not it is possible.

Firstly, if they ran a society that was desirable to live in, why would they feel a need to ban elections?

Secondly, doesn't the fact that they don't trust others to run affairs in the way a prime minister does shows that they are not just closed minded due to wanting things in their way and believe it can't be done differently but the lack of trust suggests that other people wouldn't enjoy their regime. In addition to the possibility of paranoia which would probably lead to a very authoritarian regime like in Stalinist Russia.

Thirdly, with when power is being concentrated in such an extreme amount and can't be disputed, wouldn't that mean that not just would things work in the interests of a small minority (whether the intentions of the dictator were good or not) leading to several problems such as if they require hardships on the short terms meaning you may have to use violence, in addition to the temptation of being corrupt when you have undisputed power.

If you had no welfare, that would massively cause wages to drive down despite the fact that we would have to pay for loads of things we don't already, such as schools being private, roads being private etc. This would lead to massive increase in crime but no police force, and reduced people going to school would cause on the long term, literacy rates to drop and on the short term, people not being able to have qualifications, so despite being incredibly pro-rich people, it is as anti-aspiration as you can get. A decreased literacy rate and more uneducated people would lead to people only being able to offer manual labour jobs and the inability to rise up the social ladder due to decreased education opportunities would drive down wages further meaning higher cost of living, and any extra money in tax is lost through decreased wages. This again creates mass poverty, mass crime which damages businesses so even rich people would suffer financially as a result of this. This in in addition to all the public sector workers losing their jobs offering extra supply to the private sector pushing down wages further in addition to all the damage from an increased unemployment rate on the short term. No taxes would only give the illusion of more money.

It is also not legalized theft as for taxes like income, you only pay if you "voluntarily" get a job; VAT, you only pay if you "voluntarily" buy the goods; Stamp Duty, Only if you "voluntarily" buy a house; Corporationtax, no-one forced you to have a business etc
