so lets factor in the populations and do this per capita

uk = 0.00102579 gun murders per 1,000 people

US = 0.0279271 gun murders per 1,000 people

wow, sombody was wrooong, BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER

the results were ranked!

Uk = 32nd highest gun murders per capita

US = 8th highest gun murders per capita!

and guess what! IT WAS A 32 NATION REPORT! MEANING THE UK HAD THE LOWEST GUN CRIME RATES OF THEM ALL!

Another thought, did you ever think to REALIZE that the strong violence in strict gun law places came BEFORE the laws did? the laws are strick because the violence got bad, and the laws were made after to try to stop it.

Some one needs to do secondary school R.E. again, Immaculate conception means that Mary was conceived without original sin which means Mary didnt have the human tendency to turn away from god and therefore Mary never sinned (I don't believe in a need for Immaculate conception and lots of other Christians don't but Catholics LOVE it). i believe that through belief in Jesus as our saviour and our creator (because he is part of the trinity and therefore is god) we can get to heaven (Jews are included). heaven is impossible to understand, because it lasts for eternity, and surely you would get board! but since god can create universes completely different to our own (even different laws of physics) I'm sure he could keep us entertained. what ever its like it will be good when we get there. as for the people who say "WORM FOOD" i pose you this logical theory from some clever mathematician whose name i cant remember.

lets consider that you can either believe in god or not, and ignore the fact that there are different religions to choose from

now lets consider that there could either be a god or not be a god.

now lets consider that if there is a god any you believe in god then he lets you into heaven and that if you don't you will go to hell.

this give us 4 outcomes...

1: there is no god and you don't believe in god, in which case, CONGRATS YOU WERE RIGHT! NOW SHUT UP AND BE WORM FOOD!

2: there is no god but you believed in god, in which case, your worm food with the atheists too (at leased you religion helped you lead a fairer and kinder life, not that atheists cant be as fair and kind as believers)

3: there IS a god but you didn't believe in him, in which case, ETERNAL DAMNATION FOR YOU!

4: there is a god and you believed in him, in which case, Enjoy your eternal life

this method shows us that you have more to gain by believing in god... now you need to decide which one (and may i personally recommend Christianity, most popular religion in the known universe and relativity extremist free)
