Kids of my age, 16 are extremely ignorant of politics. I cannot have a rational debate with any of them regarding politics and quite frankly, they're just stupid.

Of course it would be a better place without religion!
Religion is just another variable getting in the way of a more peaceful world.
If religion didn't exist, the crusades, the inquisition, 9/11, the suppression of women and homosexuals, hate for people of another religion -- and many more would have never been in the world.
There is no God that created this world.
However, I would give a slight edge to the Sun God.
