I don't think so because there is more distractions on their personal device then there is programs or whatever it is that will help them learn. They are more likely to use their personal devices for different matters then whatever topic they "need" it for.
It is not a serious issue, because the climate is always changing. And has been for the amount of time that Earth has been formed. Sure we may have the RECORD for the highest temperature that is KNOWN to man, but that doesn't mean that it hasn't been hotter in the past. There could've been temperatures way hotter back then, then there is now. People often think that the Jurassic era is a extremely hot time, thus most of the animals were reptile like, and there wasn't as many natural disasters.
