1.) Erasers work based on quality. If by a cheaper pencil standard, the Dixon Ticonderoga has a good eraser for its low price.

6.) If you are referring to the Pilot Frixion, then you have no point. That pen uses an ink that is sensitive to heat. When one uses the rubber eraser, he or she is just chemically changing the ink to a different state, as in the ink just appears to be gone.
